"Batman v Teen Titans: Dark Injustice" is the twenty-eighth episode in the third season of Teen Titans Go!, and the one-hundred-thirty-second overall episode of the series.

Sypnosis

Because of the sheer unkindness of the pranks they pull on each other, Raven tries to convince the humiliating jokes on April Fools' Day to stop. However, the Titans continue the pranks, which severely damages their trust for each other, and of course their bodies, too.

Why It's (Intentionally?) a Dark Injustice Indeed

Note: This episode was supposed to be an April Fools' prank.

  1. This episode is just cruelly inaccurate. Granted, it's supposed to be an April Fools' Day special, but still.
    • The air date isn't even on April 1st! Why air it on March 28th if it's finished and not wait until 4 days later? That makes no sense.
  2. Misleading title: None of the Teen Titans get to fight Batman in this episode. In fact, Batman only makes a small cameo in this episode.
    • It was meant to capitalize Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, though it could be assumed it was meant to trick the viewers as part of the episode being based on April Fools, which this episode name should be renamed as, "Titan Fools Day".
  3. Despite calling it "fun", the pranks the Titans pull on each other are emotionally and physically mean-spirited:
    • Starfire punches Robin in the stomach right before they kiss.
    • Robin tricks Beast Boy and beats him up with his staff.
    • Cyborg gets a sticky note from Beast Boy on his back with the note letting the Titans slap him.
    • The wolf and dead parents prank are the worst offenders because of how realistic Starfire's screams are and makes you wanna feel bad for her, and the dead parents "prank" is the worst thing the Titans did to Robin!
      • They even made him cry. How worse can they get?!
  4. It also shows how the Titans in this series don't act like they’re friends at all and instead treat each other horribly.
  5. The ending is the equivalent of a kick to the groin, as the Titans appear to learn from their sins and become mature and serious, just for them to point at the audience saying "April Fools!"
  6. Overall, this episode might be seen as another hater episode, but as an April Fools' prank.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. Raven is the only good character in this episode as she admits the pranks the other Titans pull on each other are messed up and evil.
