"This is our time, this is our moment. Beyblade Burst!"

Beyblade Burst is an anime that has been running since 2016 based off of the manga of the same name.

This page, we focused for Season 1 & 2, which considered decent season. But when comes to Season 3 to 5, this season is going downhill due to seasonal rot.

Why It Rocks

  1. Very interesting characters such as:
    • Valt
    • Rantaro
    • Aiger
    • Shu
    • Silas
    • Free
    • Dante
    • Hikaru
    • Hyuga
    • Bel
    • Daigo
    • Wakiya
    • Ken
    • Kit
    • Xander
  2. Similar to its previous predecessors, the toy lineups were just as successful as before.
  3. There's some episodes are good.
  4. Some of the battles are very satisfying and cool to watch.
  5. Since Nelvana no longer has the rights to the franchise, the voice acting has improved from its former predecessors as the studio behind the series has a higher budget for better voice actors.
    • The Japanese voices are great, too.
  6. There's some moments here and there.
  7. Epic theme songs such as:
    • This Is Our Time
    • Battle Above My League
    • Evolution
    • Made for This
    • Turbo
    • Rise
    • Darkness Turns To Light
  8. The beys can look very cool, basic, and epic.
  9. The animation is quite lovely as its update to date with modern standards.
    • The character design are great, too.

Bad Qualities

  1. After Evolution, the show has been going downhill a bit. (Although the show has been recovering since Quaddrive.)
  2. Several characters appeared in only 1 (maybe 2) seasons and had so much potential, that they became underrated. Examples of this are:
    • Zac
    • Quon
    • Akira
    • Ren Wu
    • Kurt
    • Jin
    • Naoki
    • Clio
    • Fubuki
    • Suoh
    • Orochi
    • Gabe
    • Joshua (despite him being annoying.)
    • Yugo
    • Ukyo
    • Daigo (despite appearing in the first 2 seasons.
  3. Some of the characters can be annoying and/or one-dimensional. Such as:
    • Joshua (already said in BQ #2.)
    • Aiger (in Turbo despite being a very good character)
    • Valt (sometimes)
    • Shu (when he was Red Eye)
    • Wakiya (in Evolution.)
    • Lui (In first 2 seasons.)
      • Speaking of characters, several minor characters (including side characters) have generic beys which are just recolored versions of other existing beys that other characters have.
  4. In Beyblade Burst Evolution: Shu went from a calm cool and collective skilled blader, into a power-hungry jerk who goes by Red Eye (mentioned in BQ# 2) who says that winning is everything and destroys other beys, and makes a big deal when he loses against Lui.
  5. A few predictable moments especially Red Eye's reveal, The main character winning the Cup (except for Season 1, when Lui won.), Their beys breaking and so on.
  6. Hasbro beys can be very weak when compared to Takara Tomy beys (only "Turbo" through "Qurd-Strike").
  7. The characters seem like they only care about Beyblade and nothing else. (except a few characters)
  8. Some episode are ranging from mediocre to bad.
  9. Their games overall is only release in Japan, unlike other Beyblade game.

Trivia

  • Valt is the only character to only appear in every season in the anime.
  • Aiger is the first protagonist to have a Balance Type bey.
