Plot

Dexter and Dee Dee team up to work together, only to make things worse.

Why It Doesn't Team Up Together

  1. Misleading Title: D2 seen in the title card is used for math, despite not appearing in real life, but here it focuses on Dexter and Dee Dee teaming up.
  2. Speaking of which, the title is lazy as it seems to be based on a math equation.
  3. Dexter and Dee Dee are horribly unlikeable in this episode since what they do is mess up their parents' work because of teamwork.
    • They are also annoying since both shout their mottos, which are cringeworthy, only to make them look worse.
  4. They mess up the kitchen and dining room while their mom is cleaning, and because of that, she kicks both of them out.
  5. They could have given the remote to their dad instead of playing around with it while he was watching "The Puppet Pals Show", then later on "Power Pals". This causes Dad to use his feet to grab the remote instead of getting it by himself.
  6. There are other things they horribly did to their parents:
    • They use "laundry helpers" to mess up the laundry, causing Mom to get mad at them.
    • While Dad is starting to rest in the hammock, they use "hammock helpers" to make him fall down.
    • While Mom is vacuuming the floor, they use "household helpers" to mess up the living room.
    • Dad sees them using "garden helpers" to destroy the flowers, causing him to cry.
    • They even use other "helpers" to destroy their house until his Mom calls them out to go to their neighbors.
  7. Plot Hole: Dexter accepts Dee Dee for being a hero even though the latter messes up his lab in many episodes.
  8. While Dexter and Dee Dee fight for the cookie and get their comeuppance at the end of the episode, their parents stand their doing nothing. However, they clean up their mess with their own powers.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Mom and Dad are likable characters in this episode.
    • Mom does reprimand at both Dexter and Dee Dee because of their mess they made, thrice.
  2. The opening scene is good by letting Dee Dee grab Dexter to get the beaker, until they decided to mess their household work.
  3. Dexter and Dee Dee fighting over a cookie is a sign of getting a comeuppance, while their parents clean up using their powers (offscreen) after this.
  4. Despite them being unlikable, it's nice to see Dexter and Dee Dee teaming up.

Trivia

  • The Puppet Pals and Justice Friends make cameos in the TV when Dad is watching it.
