Plot

Susan and Mary invented a key that can open anything, but Johnny and Dukey opens any location they wanted just so people can open it too.

Why It's A Key Of Bust

  1. When Johnny and Dukey open anything they like, people wanted the X key, which is mean-spirited.
  2. Johnny is stupid in this episode:
    • When the Mayor gives Johnny a ceremonial key, the latter said "That means I can open every door lock in Porkbelly?", which causes others to laugh at him.
    • Him and Dukey open something that they like such as amusement parks and limos.
    • They also steal money from the bank just so they can buy fast food.
    • As Susan and Mary are mad at them for opening any locks they want, people wanted to steal the key so that they can open anything they want as well.
    • Johnny also opens the "Keep Out" gate in Area 51.1, which causes the robot to destroy not only him, but also the General, Mr. Black, and Mr. White.
  3. As mentioned before, Johnny and Dukey stealing money from the back are mean-spirited. Plus, they will go to jail if they steal anything.
  4. Mr. Black and Mr. White (before the four of them enter Area 51.1) are filler characters.
  5. The robot is a mean-spirited character, as it terrorizes people in Area 51.1 and Hugh Test while cleaning the lab.
  6. When Johnny and Dukey unlock the door that contained their stuff that is banned, they unlock it and saw "Toxic Battle Blast 4", implying that they will play again and cause nightmares.
  7. Bad Moral: People can use the key to open any places they want, which will put them into trouble.
  8. Hypocrisy For Two Reasons:
    • Susan and Mary told Johnny that the key is not used to invade privacy, take things that do not belong to him, and go to places that are inappropriate for him, but he stole money from the bank, which is against the second rule.
    • Mr. Black keeps the key so that no one will use it, but he, along with Mr. White and the General, uses it again just so he can do what Johnny and Dukey are doing before.
  9. Weak Ending: As mentioned before, General, Mr. Black, and Mr. White are shown opening places that Johnny and Dukey visited, which causes Johnny, Dukey, Susan, and Mary to comment "I knew it!" and showing hypocrisy. Hank Anchorman also said a stupid one-liner: "If anybody knows the whereabouts of the key, please tell me, I got a habit."

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Some good scenes in this episode:
    • Susan and Mary testing Johnny extended arms.
    • Johnny saving a baby in the apartment.
    • The action scene where Johnny defeats the robot using the X key.
  2. Johnny (despite being stupid), Dukey, Susan, Mary, Mr. Black, Mr. White, and the General are likable characters in this episode.
  3. At least there is a good moral, Susan and Mary remind Johnny not to invade privacy, steal someone else's stuff, and go to inappropriate locations.
