"HEY, THAT'S MY SHOW!"

LegoboyNJ

"If the logic of the world is that Objects are sentient, that's fine but, why do they bleed? I swear, it's only because this show wants.... to be edgy so hard, and, I don't understand why now, but being edgy is not necessarily a bad thing but, it's extremely forced here. It just feels very forced because that's not the tone it should generally have."

Object Terror is an object show made by Brian (aka ShallotHare, formerly Legoboynj) that was first released sometime around 2014 on Brian's old channel, leogboynj / object terror. He couldn't find his account however, which is another thing to note. The first reboot was released in February 19, 2016 on his new account, in which it’s second reboot was released in November 12, 2016. Due to its content as of the 3rd episode of the second reboot, P to the Fourth, it is known to be one of the worst object shows of all time, along with Shape World, Object Show of Doom, Objects at War and Random Object Battle Royale.

Why It's a Terror-ble Show That Needs to Be Squashed by Spikes

  1. This object show tries too hard to be edgy, violent, and graphic, as it includes very unnecessary content which makes it completely out of place for a 14+ rated show. For example, there is a scene (shown in the second part of episode five, Kiloto the Minoto) where Beer and Trowel make out in a sexual fashion, and a majority of scenes where several characters spout out extreme profanity (e.g. the F-bomb), albeit censored.
    • The biggest example of all is that this show includes human blood inside the inanimate objects (in which they don’t in real life, as they are obviously inanimate objects), as seen in A Perplexing Massacre, which just looks unsettling to look at. Another example is in the aforementioned episode, which shows a half of Mint with blood on it, as well as Road Sign looking at his dead body with a horrified look on his face.
  2. Almost all of the characters in the show are unlikable (including the host and especially for characters like Arch, Mint, and Wallet where it was taken to the next level) and they always get tortured, bullied, or killed. It's even gotten to the point where some characters were even flanderized.
    • El Nudelo Spider is treated as a Butt-Monkey character by everyone else because his design looks very ugly and was bullied because of that. He was even eliminated in the second episode just because he looked ugly! For revenge, he sang a mean song to Wallet. No one ever gave him a chance to join, not even the host. He was even quoted as "The Unfair Joiner", which is just mean-spirited.
    • Beep Boop is very loud and annoying as he always shouts in a loud volume with his so-called "sexy voice".
    • Wallet is one of the most unlikable characters in the show, if not any object show in general, considering that he is incredibly mean-spirited, makes the contestants look bad, and shows no remorse for it. To add insult to the injury, he went as far as by making Plug cry for legitimately no reason. He's also considered to be a psychopath because he literally murders people, just because they hate him, and sometimes for no reason at all.
  3. Printer's screaming also shown in "Kiloto the Minoto" is so annoying that it could give SuperMinecraftKid’s screaming a run for his money.
  4. The musical numbers are pointless and wastes the episode's time.
  5. Whenever a character gets eliminated, they get crushed in a very brutal display. Also, it was once said that the contestants who got crushed get sent to Hell, which is very cruel.
  6. Unnecessary filler. There is a scene in said two-parter episode ("Kiloto the Minoto") where all of the characters dance for no apparent reason after they have arrived at “Conotiopia Center Park”.
  7. Very disturbing episodes like "Kiloto the Minoto" and "A Perplexing Massacre", with the former being the worst offender.
  8. The animation looks very cheap and lazy, considering it's animated in Flash.
  9. Unoriginal overused stereotypes, like Magazine being a teen stereotype and always uses her phone, Mint and Fart being the dumb ones (with Stapler occasionally being one), the cool ones being Stapler (but fails at being so), Carpet, Beer, and Trowel, the hyper one being Skittle, the sarcastic ones being Flash Drive, Paint and Recycling Bin, the genius one who makes inventions being Whipped Cream, the annoying ones being Mint, Fart, Skittle, Stapler, and Beep Boop, the annoyed ones being Whipped Cream, Magazine, Biscuit, and Arch, the ugly one being El Nudelo Spider, and the mean ones being Cactus, Arch, Trowel (mostly), Beer, and especially Wallet, and the list goes on and on.
    • The extremely psychotic ones are Smore and of course, Wallet.
    • In fact, Flash Drive is so sarcastic. He ends up being literally mean.
  10. Terrible character designs, even to the point that they were redesigned; Mint's original design looks so laughably (both figuratively and literally) hideous, that he was redesigned by the second episode. The original design was thankfully used in the first episode.
  11. The show also tries to be cool with MLG memes by using Stapler just because she's the cool one (see WIATSTNTBSBS#9), but it fails at every single way, and ends up being cringy and outdated.
  12. The jokes and humor aren't good either, and sometimes, it provides sexual innuendos. Most of it are stupid and unfunny like Mint randomly saying "Stinky Socks" multiple times, Fart being used for toilet humor, and El Nudelo Spider being called ugly. There was even one innuendo in "Kiloto the Minoto" (Part 1) about urine, pretty much showing how immature the show is with its humor.
  13. Jumping the shark by adding too many new characters. Some are even used for filler.
  14. Some unreasonable voice changes. By the later episodes, most of the characters' voices had been changed for unknown reasons, presumably due to it not fitting.
  15. Legoboynj promised the fans that the 6th episode, Bars and Beers, would release in 2019 or 2020. However, because of the show's negative reception, episode 6 wasn't released yet. So, it's unknown whether the show was cancelled, or episode 6 was put in Development Hell.
    • To add insult to injury, he even couldn't take any criticism at all because when he discovered his show's article was on this wiki, he vandalized it by deleting everything on it and making it only say: "HEY, THAT'S MY SHOW!".

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The animation is actually pretty good, despite the overused elastic tween, but at least it's nowhere as abysmal as Shape World.
    • The animation has drastically improved even more in the later episodes.
  2. There are still some good voice actors in this show, despite being poorly wasted. Thankfully, some were changed for the better.
  3. The recent intro is very popular as some people are making their own versions.
  4. Speaking of which, Trowel, Beer, Cactus, Paint, Skittle, Whipped Cream and Computer are all likable or interesting characters.
  5. There are some unintentionally funny moments, such as Beep Boop saying his voice is "sexy", despite being loud and annoying.
  6. It is one of the few object shows to have an episode have over half a million/500,000 views.
