Rooster Teeth Productions, LLC (d/b/a Rooster Teeth) is an American media and entertainment company headquartered in Austin, Texas. Founded in 2003 by Burnie Burns, Matt Hullum, Geoff Ramsey, Jason Saldaña, Gus Sorola, and Joel Heyman. Rooster Teeth is a subsidiary of Otter Media, which is a subsidiary of WarnerMedia Entertainment, a division of AT&T's WarnerMedia.

Bad Qualities

  1. The main problem is that the company shifted from one founded by people who make hilarious content and mostly having fun with each other to a company that's more focused on business, which is sad, considering most of their content outside of their creations were pretty fun.
  2. Much like other companies that went downhill (Rockstar Games, Bethesda, Blizzard), they went greedy.
  3. The company is slowly abandoning any of their famous properties like Red vs Blue and Camp Camp in favour of milking RWBY, even after the creator of the show, Monty Oum, died in 2015. While it isn't a bad idea continuing a show after its creator died, the way they treat the show is downright abysmal, as they're milking all of its worth, ranging from merchandise to adaptations and so on, making the show Rooster Teeth's cash cow. This alone damaged the reputation of the entire franchise, especially after its quality decline since Volume 4, as people despise it for poor storytelling, though it recovered in Volume 7 but declined again in Volume 8, but recovered again since Volume 9.
  4. They produced bad and/or mediocre shows and films like RWBY (Volumes 4-6, 8), gen:Lock (season 2), RWBY: Ice Queendom, and Blood Fest.
  5. Their workplace environment has been reported to be absolutely atrocious.
  6. Their 20th anniversary was a disaster.
    1. Their new logo is pretty bad and simple, and doesn't look as good as the previous logo and especially compared to the first logo

Good Qualities

  1. They still make a lot of great shows like Red vs. Blue, RWBY (Volumes 1-3, 7, 9-present), gen:Lock (season 1), RWBY Chibi and Camp Camp.
