Witch’s Brew is the 3rd episode of the 6th season of Teen Titans Go!.

Synopsis

The Titans throw a Halloween party and invite the Justice League but the witches brew Robin creates has side effects of a spell.

Why It’s a Bad Brew

  1. Firstly, this episode is very weird and nonsensical. Many things don’t tie in and make sense. The episode feels more like a fever dream than a coherent story.
  2. Plot Hole: How did the Justice League manage to come to the Titans’ Halloween party when they’re treated like celebrities in the TTG! world? The likelihood of them coming is extremely low.
  3. After the beginning, the episode literally falls apart. The Titans are making food for the Halloween party and Robin makes witch’s brew. But Raven warns him of the dire consequences. The ingredients are also innocent. Here’s the recipe of the brew and tell us how nonsensical this sounds:
    • Grape soda
    • Lime juice
    • Carbonated water
  4. The show even continues it’s strange habit of calling carbonated water “fizzy water” but it could be they are using simplistic words for the child audience.
  5. Also, why aren’t the Titans in Halloween costumes when it’s Halloween?
  6. Oddly enough, the Justice League come to the Titans’ Halloween party and they find them weird. They drink Robin’s witch’s brew and turn into ugly witches.
  7. How does Robin’s drink turn the JL into witches in the first place?! It’s made of innocent ingredients, this whole thing makes no sense.
  8. The witchified Justice League goes around town creating chaos, mainly making Halloween decorations come to life.
  9. The Titans chase them but it’s strange and rendered pointless.
  10. Bad ending: The Titans failed to catch the Justice League and turn them back to normal and they’re stuck as ugly witches.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. The beginning is nice and the Halloween party the Titans organize looks pretty fun.
