12. oz Mouse is a 2000s American surreal humor and psychological thriller animated television series created by Matt Maiellaro for Cartoon Network's late-night programming block, [adult swim]. It aired for two seasons from 2005 to 2007, and a third season in 2020.

Intentional Bad Qualities

NOTE: Keep in mind that this cartoon was meant to be bad from start to finish.
  1. The animation, while good, looks incredibly primitive, like all of the backgrounds and characters were drawn in MS Paint in 5 minutes.
  2. The jokes are pretty horrible, as if the writers were high, drunk, or possibly both.
  3. The writing is even worse than other [adult swim] shows.
  4. The voice acting is very bland and sounds very monotone.
  5. That lady in some of the episodes will never shut up.
  6. Not only is the animation lazy, but the dialogue is possibly even lazier.
    • Not only is it lazy, but it’s a little ugly too.
  7. Overall, these two seasons are very stupid and very weird (in a bad way).

Good Qualities

  1. Good music.
    • The theme song on (Season 1-2) made by Nine Pound Hammer is pretty good.
  2. At least the show isn't overly gory, unlike Mr. Pickles.
  3. The show did begin to improve in the second season with less lazy animation and the writing is a little better.
    • The third season is when the show became good, thanks to its good revival special, Invictus.
  4. While the animation looks like it was made by a 4-year-old, it's surprisingly good.
  5. There are some likable characters, such as Eye and Roostre.
  6. Some good episodes depending on your vision like: "Adventure Mouse" (which ended Season 1 on a high note), "Pré-Reckooning", and "Prolegomenon" (which ended these seasons on a high note).
  7. Some viewers might find these seasons as so bad it's good.
