"A Friend in Your Face!" is the third episode of the fourth season of The Ren & Stimpy Show.

Plot

When Stimpy gets a head parasite called Choo Choo his friend Looney moves inside Ren which causes numerous problems for him.

Why It Will Give You A Headache

  1. It's another Ren torture episode where he is put in constant pain and suffering with a head parasite inside his head.
  2. Stimpy is completely oblivious to Ren's misery and thinks having head parasites is a good thing since his head parasite doesn't cause him any trouble.
  3. Misleading Title Card: The title card shows both Choo Choo and Looney inside Ren but only Looney stays inside Ren while Choo Choo remains in Stimpy.
  4. Some gross moments including Ren beating up his brain thinking it's Looney, Looney creating manure on Ren's head and dumping trash on his food.
  5. Looney is completely unlikeable since he makes Ren's life a living nightmare as he plays loud music when he's trying to sleep, dumps his garbage on his food, creates manure on Ren's head and worst of all lights a stove on top of Ren's brain and sets him on fire.
  6. After Ren is set on fire, the Fire Chief thinks the best option is to tear down Ren's head treating it more like a house which would kill him!
  7. Looney completely gets away with what he did to Ren and runs away after setting Ren on fire!
  8. Bad Ending: Instead of getting rid of the head parasites once and for all Ren gets even more parasites when they renovate his head into a hotel.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Ren is likeable.
  2. Choo Choo is more tolerable than Looney.
  3. Even though he was unsuccessful Ren had some good ideas to try and get rid of Looney.
  4. The Polka music, which was also used in Family Matters.
