Plot

Bonnie accidentally takes a girl's bag, ending up with her Pichu, while the girl, Lyn, ends up with Dedenne.

Bad Qualities

  1. This is yet another Weak filler episode.
  2. The filler’s plot itself is very bland, simply consisting of the group and Lyn trying to find each other to get their Pokémon back.
  3. Both Bonnie and Lyn are somewhat unlikable:
    • Bonnie due to her not watching Dedenne, causing Lyn to take him by mistake.
    • Lyn by running away from her older sister Lena, causing her to get worried, and causing the plot by taking Bonnie's bag.
  4. Despite Dedenne being close to Bonnie, he shows no concern for being separated from Bonnie, his caretaker.
  5. The gang noticed a ribbon and confused it for Lyn. Huh?
  6. Dedenne briefly gets separated from Bonnie and Lyn and they find him almost immediately, making both of the separations pointless.
  7. Lyn is a partial clone of Bonnie.
  8. Despite Clemont informing Bonnie to not overfeed Dedenne, she does so anyway at the ending.

Good Qualities

  1. The animation and voice acting are still good as usual.
  2. Several cute and heartwarming moments, including Dedenne sleeping in the toy container, and Lyn and Bonnie crying and apologizing for the incident.
  3. Ash, Serena, Clemont, And Nurse Joy Are still Likable.
  4. Thankfully, it's just a filler episode. So, if they want to, the fans can skip it.
  5. The scene where Bonnie decided to tell the girl to take "care" of her brother gag is pretty hilarious. A nod to Brock flirting gag.
