A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors is a 1987 movie and the third installment to the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.
Why It Rocks
- Great soundtrack, most notably being Dokken’s Dream Warriors, which plays during the credits for the film.
- The movie perfectly balances the horror elements of the last two movies of the franchise and the comedy of the sequels.
- A lot of personality and character development from each character. One of the most notable is the heroine of the first film; Nancy Thompson, who was formerly a girl being chased by Freddy every night to a mentor to most of the characters; being aware of their problems and encounters with Freddy.
- Very iconic and unforgettable quotes, such as: "WELCOME TO PRIME TIME, BITCH!".
- Like most movies in the franchise, Robert Englund delivers a great performance as Freddy Krueger.
- Original and unique plot that feels like a game changer to the franchise.
- The Wizard Master scene was hilarious, despite it being a little bit corny.
Bad Qualities
- The CGI can sometimes be awkward.
- It ignores the events of A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge
