A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors is a 1987 movie and the third installment to the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.

Why It Rocks

  1. Great soundtrack, most notably being Dokken’s Dream Warriors, which plays during the credits for the film.
  2. The movie perfectly balances the horror elements of the last two movies of the franchise and the comedy of the sequels.
  3. A lot of personality and character development from each character. One of the most notable is the heroine of the first film; Nancy Thompson, who was formerly a girl being chased by Freddy every night to a mentor to most of the characters; being aware of their problems and encounters with Freddy.
  4. Very iconic and unforgettable quotes, such as: "WELCOME TO PRIME TIME, BITCH!".
  5. Like most movies in the franchise, Robert Englund delivers a great performance as Freddy Krueger.
  6. Original and unique plot that feels like a game changer to the franchise.
  7. The Wizard Master scene was hilarious, despite it being a little bit corny.

Bad Qualities

  1. The CGI can sometimes be awkward.
  2. It ignores the events of A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge
