Alpha and Omega 2: A Howl-iday Adventure (or just Alpha and Omega 2) is a 2013 American computer-animated action comedy movie. It was co-produced and directed by Richard Rich. It is the sequel to the 2010 animated movie Alpha and Omega.
The first announcement for the movie was in September 2012, when it was announced for a worldwide theatrical release. However, the movie faced a lot of scandals and delays during its production and was released straight-to-DVD instead on October 8, 2013 with a Christmas theme. Alpha and Omega 3: The Great Wolf Games was released on iTunes on March 4, 2014. It was released as a Walmart exclusive on March 25, 2014.
Why It's No Howl-iday Adventure
- The idea of making a sequel to Alpha and Omega is kinda pointless, as the first film ended on a nice ending that never setted anything for a sequel.
- None of the actors from the first film, not even Justin Long, Hayden Panettiere, Dennis Hopper, and Christina Ricci. Instead, filled in with Anime dubbers.
- The pups are incredibly unlikable characters.
- It almost ruined the reputation of Lionsgate even further also, due to its negative reception and the way how Lionsgate managed to botch the film and their marketing on everything else. And since the company nowadays have garnered a negative reputation for its poor management and disrespect towards its fanbase, it's safe to say that the Lionsgate themselves has declined in quality because of this film and will never be as good as they once were.
Redeeming Qualities
- Lilly and Garth are still likable characters, and weren't flanderized in any form.
