Baby Hands is the 12th episode of the 2nd season of Teen Titans Go!.

Synopsis

Brother Blood shocks Cyborg, Raven, Starfire and Beast Boy with a huge laser gun that erases their memories of being a Teen Titan, giving Robin his big opportunity: he can now shape them into the respectable, hard-working team he always dreamed of.

Why It Has No Hands

  1. Bad title: The episode does not fully focus on Robin’s “baby hands” (disproportionately small hands) it only is said at the beginning and shown at the end.
  2. All the “baby hands” insults the Titans hurl at Robin at the beginning of the episode can be completely cut out because they are very forced to set up the end of the episode.
  3. The flashback about how the Teen Titans were formed during the meeting will be rendered pointless because the episode, Flashback looks nothing like it.
  4. Robin is horribly unlikable during the entire battle with Brother Blood because he purposely causes the Titans to lose because he heard that Brother Blood built a memory wiping ray.
  5. A good chunk of the episode is just the Titans worshipping Robin and it’s just cringe.
    • Robin also brainwashes the Titans into thinking he saved their lives and the stories are very stupid.
  6. Half Bad Ending: Robin takes off his gloves and it’s revealed he has hands disproportionately small to his body, “baby hands”. He then proceeds to beat up Brother Blood. The “baby hands” will go on to be a recurring theme/running gag in the series and it’s not funny.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The beginning has a nice continuity nod because Cyborg and Beast Boy are seen eating a burger and a burrito respectively.
  2. Half Good Ending: At least Robin saved the day.
