Season 3 of Bizaardvark premiered on July 24th, 2018 with “The Summer of Us” and ended on April 13, 2019 with “The End of the Beginning”. While the first two seasons (2016-2018) were poorly received, Season 3 (2018-2019) received more positive reception in comparison.

Plot

“Bizaardvark” follows teen comedy bloggers and best friends Paige and Frankie to the sunny shores of Malibu, California, where they have been selected to stay at Vuuugle’s prestigious beach house for the entire summer, along with several other Vuuugle influencers. The comedy duo’s housemates include fellow v-logging star Amelia; their buddy Bernie who lands a room thanks to his grandmother serving as the adult chaperone; and rambunctious tween bloggers Zane (of “Zane Unboxed”) and Rodney (of “What's in M'Hair?”) who run their online channels with their moms. In this ultra-cool oceanview environment, Paige and Frankie – along with their friends – embark on an endless summer of creativity and fun.

Why This Season Isn't Bizarre

  1. It's a big improvement over the first two seasons as it doesn’t try too hard to be like iCarly as it has its own plot, and it also doesn’t try to be all hip and current and actually focuses more on the characters.
  2. There are more good episodes in this season compared to the first two, such as:
  3. This season introduces 3 new likable characters: Zane, Rodney and Willow.
  4. The writing has improved a lot and more effort has been put in this show as it’s actually coming off as a funny show.
  5. The acting has improved.
  6. The characters have become more likable and hilarious.
    • Paige and Frankie has gotten more unique and hilarious with their videos and they have gotten better personalities.
    • While Amelia still hasn’t recovered from her loathsomeness, she does have some great moments in this season.
    • Bernie luckily loss interest in Amelia in this season and became a funny character and not a rip-off of Freddie Benson.
    • Zane and Rodney are great replacements of Dirk as they’re actually pretty funny and smarter than him.
  7. The humor has improved as it is now funnier instead of just being cringeworthy.
  8. The new Vuuugle House is amazing.
  9. The new transition screen music has been remixed to a Hawaiian themed song and is actually pretty catchy.
  10. This season has some heartwarming moments here and there.
  11. The dialogue has gotten better.
  12. This season sends good morals such as;
    • Caring for each other.
    • Being a big sister.
    • Sharing and Caring.
    • Always be there for your friends until the end.
  13. This season doesn’t try too hard to be like iCarly as it has its own plot.
  14. This season had some great heartwarming moments.
  15. This season was a great final season to the show.

Bad Qualities

  1. Like the first 2 seasons, the laugh track can still play after every line
  2. There are still some bad episodes, such as:
    • "Where There's a Willow There's a Way";
    • "PK in Da House";
    • "Bizaardvark Changes Lives" (arguably the worst episode of this good season);
    • “BizRipOffs” (which is a rehash of “iTake On Dingo”).
  3. The theme song has been shortened.
  4. The acting is still poor sometimes.
  5. The dialogue can sometimes still be cheesy.
  6. Some characterization can be bad:
    • Paige and Frankie can still be annoying and unlikable at times.
      • They can also still act like Carly and Sam at times.
      • Frankie can still be a little too aggressive at times.
    • Amelia unfortunately didn't get over her loathsomeness.
    • Zane and Rodney can be very annoying at times.
  7. Sadly this season gave Horse Face Guy an episode around him. The reason this is the bad thing is because Horse Face Guy is a very pointless character.

Reception

The last season of Bizaardvark received much more positive reception from critics, audiences and fans of the show, and considered this season an improvement over the first 2 seasons The show currently holds a 3.8/10 on IMDb.
