Bomb Superman is an "action" game on the Lexibook TV Game Console, known for being a ripoff of the SNES game Super Bomberman.

Why It Should Get Bombed By Superman and Is Not Super

  1. It is just a ripoff of Super Bomberman, but a lot slower than that game. For the title, all they did is just switch around some of the words so that it wouldn't seem like a complete ripoff, but it is.
  2. Subpar, dull, and ugly graphics, which isn't really surprising at this point.
  3. Incredibly slow, wonky, and unresponsive controls.
  4. No variety in the enemies. The developers just decided to copy and paste the same blue enemy over and over again for all of the levels, as they didn't bother trying to make new ones. However, even if they did, they would probably just be recycled from other games on the console anyway.
  5. Speaking of recycling, the player character is the same character that has been re-used from other games on the console, such as Move Ball. You can tell the developers were already getting lazy.
  6. The "Uh oh!" sound effect for when you die is stolen from macOS.
  7. Due to the game's incredibly slow pace, it can take you forever to beat it, hence why it's not worth playing at all.
  8. Repetitive, on-loop music. The same jingle would also be re-used in other games on the console, such as Crazy Fish, the latter game being a ripoff of the online game Feeding Frenzy.
  9. The "Hard" mode in the main menu is misspelled as "Haro".
