Fan Disservice Qualities

"Don't let your kids watch it!"
-Robbie Rotten (LazyTown)
(The inappropriate fan disservice scene for example.)
  1. This episode is infamous for having Old Lady Munson, an extremely grouchy and short tempered elderly overweight lady (especially to Coop and Burt) wearing a yellow leopard bra and thong panties in a kids show, which is extremely inappropriate as well as cringy, nauseating, disturbing and nightmarish. It also comes off as fan disservice due to this. Even Mr. Kat gets disgusted by her in bikini who the former was responsible for making the machine that makes Bootsville so hot and then he destroys his own created machine which turns Bootsville normal, but Mr. Kat shivers in cold.
    • Not to mention, Burt was also horrified because of that, which even gained his Bikiniphobia (fear of bikinis) thanks to the incident that happened back on his 8th birthday party. Same applies goes to Dizzy and Dwayne.
  2. Old Lady Munson is always an unlikable grouchy monster who always torture Burt and his friends (who were only little kids at the time) by showing her revealing bikini in front of them who makes the kids run in disgust.
  3. Due to Old Lady Munson wearing thong panties, when she tries to reach for a four-leaf clover right in front of them; while she was reaching for it, she carelessly sticks her exposed butt out right in front of the three boys (which causes them to severely freak out from the horrible sight).
  4. Mr. Kat is no better either as he causes literal global warming in Bootsville and the whole world by making the sun much more hotter than usual. But thankfully, he does get karma at the end.
  5. The title card while good, it can be scary for young kids as we see Mr. Kat with fiery inferno eyes with a hellish background accompanied with the theme tune when Old Lady Munson appears on screen.

Good Qualities

  1. The beginning and the end of the episode is great.
  2. As mentioned in the first pointer, Mr. Kat gets his karma by destroying his own machine he created which turns Bootsville normal leaving him shivered in cold and Old Lady Munson wears her normal clothing.
  3. Coop, Dennis, Burt, Millie and the rest of the townspeople (surprisingly) are likable in this episode.
  4. This is one of the few times Burt doesn't stupidly ground Coop for something Mr. Kat did.
  5. This episode could've been good if the inappropriate fan disservice scenes were censored out.

Trivia

  • This episode even revealed that Burt (along with Dizzy and Dwayne) has Bikiniphobia (fear of bikinis), as stated by the incident on his 8th birthday, which he might refer this as the "Teeny Bikini Threshold" to Coop and Dennis. But at least he had managed to overcome his fear that happened back in his 8th birthday.

What Should've Happened

A simple problem with a simple solution: Censor out the inappropriate scenes of Old Lady Munson wearing a bikini, have her to be in a swimsuit instead.
