Cha-Ching (not to be confused with the band of the same name) is a financial literacy program focusing on helping the community by building money for the values of children.

Plot

The members of the Cha-Ching sing a song to help raise money for the community.

Why It Earns, Saves, Spends, and Donate Money

  1. The concept of earning, saving, donating, and spending wisely with money by singing songs is very interesting for children, especially the poor.
  2. Plenty of likable characters, especially the members of Cha-Ching:
    • Prudence, the girl with yellow skin, provides tips to reach goals. She plays the bass as part of her hobby.
    • Justin, the guy with blue skin who wears a fedora hat, makes money by planning for a business. He plays the electric guitar as part of his hobby.
    • Pepper, the girl with the red skin and has ponytail, cares about shopping at first, but changes later on to become a fashion designer. She plays the keyboard as part of her hobby.
    • Zul, the guy with the orange skin, has a hobby in racing and he saves money by working hard. He plays the guitar as part of his hobby.
    • Bobby, the guy with the green skin who wears a blue hoodie, tends to get confused about money but has an interest in saving money. He plays drums as part of his hobby.
    • And Charity, the girl with the pink skin and has pigtails, helps the community by making charity. She plays the tambourine as part of her hobby.
  3. The songs here are phenomenal and they focus on raising money, by not only playing songs, but also working for a part-time job.
  4. They also provide plenty of good morals when the members of Cha-Ching sing songs, which happens a lot.
  5. In Season 1, the first song, Earn, Save, Spend, and Donate, focuses on all four things, as well as introducing each member; but when the second song appears, it focuses in order from the first video (earning). Saving is also seen in the 4th song (Grow Money), spending is also seen in the 7th song (Spend Your Money Wisely), and donating is seen in the 9th song (Charity).
    • From the 10th song onwards, it combines all 4 themes from the 1st song.
  6. Arnel Pineda appears as part of the guest star in Charity special song (not counted in Season 2).

Bad Qualities

  1. The second to fourth seasons have fewer songs compared to the first one, having 2-3 songs instead of 10 songs.
  2. The program can be a bit mean-spirited, especially Big, Big Waste of Money (the 14th song).
  3. For unknown reasons, Grow Money has a length of 2:30 munites as opposed to 3 minutes in other songs.
  4. Please Little Spender Think features Pepper in a bikini, which is inappropriate for a children's song.

Trivia
