An awful way to end off the first Cartoon Cartoon. (in broadcast order, at least.)

Comedy of Feathers is the third part of the thirteenth episode in the fourth season of Dexter's Laboratory.
Plot
Dexter is forced to take Dee Dee to the zoo. There, she ends up trying to save an ostrich with disastrous results - leading to Dee Dee and the ostrich switching places.
Why The Ostrich Ran Uncontrollably
- Dee Dee is extremely annoying and idiotic here, as she constantly screams when going to and in the zoo, driving the local drivers and even some of the animals crazy. Speaking of which, her screaming will likely get on your last nerve.
- When Dee Dee runs into an ostrich, she idiotically thinks that it is a bird and that it needs to be saved, despite being obvious to the viewer that is not the case.
- Misleading Title: The episode title is called "Comedy of Feathers", but this episode is not at all funny, unless you count the scene where Dee Dee and the ostrich switch places.
- Dee Dee shows no remorse at all for screaming and harming the ostrich and taking it away from the zoo.
- Dexter does nothing to stop Dee Dee from her shenanigans nor does he get mad at her at all. He just sits there eating food as he watches his big sister do idiotic things to try and “save the bird”.
- Overall, it was a terrible way to end off Dexter's Laboratory in broadcast order. However, the finale in production code order, "2Geniuses 2Gether 4Ever", was a much better end to the show.
- And the ending ended the show on a cliffhanger with Dee Dee and the ostrich running into the house, and it stops... and that's all, is it?
- It is also quite ironic that series creator Genndy Tartakovsky, actually wrote and co-directed this. It had the chance to be funny given this fact, but it had to not be.
Redeeming Qualities
- The scene where Dee Dee and the ostrich switch places is actually funny.
- The animation and voice acting are still decent. In fact, as mentioned before, it is written and co-directed by series creator Genndy Tartakovsky, which explains the nice animation.
