Day 57 is the 57th episode of Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11. It was released on YouTube on September 14, 2024.

Qualities That Never Gain Respect

  1. This episode is infamous for Jas and Fyang's rap battle where they badmouth about not gaining respect by calling Jas, "ate", and Fyang, "attention seeker". This resulted in Filipinos bashing Fyang because of that situation and sparked a controversy in the comments section on social media platforms, like Facebook, YouTube, etc.
    • As a result, the hosts removed the "Vote-to-Save/Evict" and replaced it with "Vote-to-Save" starting on the 8th eviction.
  2. Missed Opportunity: If the rap battle between Jas and Fyang had been concluded, it would have been a "Force Eviction" by Big Brother so that Fyang or Jas would be forced evicted instead of the housemate getting evicted in the 7th eviction, yet he ignored it for unknown reasons.
  3. Both Jas and Fyang badmouthing in the rap battle is one of the most mean-spirited things done in Pinoy Big Brother history.
  4. Dylan and Kai's rap battle is boring to watch.
  5. Dylan getting evicted is very uncomfortable to watch, considering that he is one of the most beloved housemates from Gen 11. Sure, he is competitive and he does have violations (such as commenting about his achievements outside of the Big Brother House), but the community wants him to get evicted due to his homophobic comments before his eviction.

Qualities That Trust the Process

  1. The rap battles of Rain and Kolette and JM and JP are hilarious to watch.
    • Binsoy and Jarren's rap battle is heartwarming and emotional.
  2. The montage of Jas and Fyang while Jas is crying is also emotional.
  3. Depending on your view, Dylan's eviction can be satisfying considering that not only he has the lowest save rates, but also due to his homophobic comments.

Controversy

Many fans of Jas and Fyang, as well as other communities who watched this show, showed dislike towards Jas and Fyang because of the hate speech in the rap battle, as a result, most of the negative comments in social media platforms regarding them were removed due to the violations of social media guidelines, especially YouTube. According to Bianca Gonzales, the managements will not hesitate to take legal actions against people who violated the guidelines of cyberbullying and cyber libel on social media platforms since they might get blocked when they did that again. After Dylan's eviction, Bianca announced to everyone that the "Vote-to-Evict" would be removed starting on Day 58, only including "Vote-to-Save".

Trivia

  • This was the last episode to include the "Save-to-Evict" tally, starting on the 8th eviction only "Vote-to-Save" tally would be implemented.
