On April 20, 2021, Brazilian voice actress Ana Lúcia Menezes died at age 45, due to a stroke, caused by an accident in her head. Known for voicing the actresses Maite Perroni, Amanda Seyfried, Lucy Hale, and Jennette McCurdy, she was known for voicing characters like Stella from Winx Club, Amy Rose from Sonic, Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gwen Tennyson from the Ben 10 franchise, Margareth from Regular Show, Tonya from Everybody Hates Chris, Bessie Higgenbottom from The Mighty B!, Karen Beecher/Bumblebee from DC Super Hero Girls, Bridgette from Total Drama, Poof from The Fairly OddParents, Mia from Mia and Me, Misa Amane from Death Note, Chiro from Spirited Away and more.

Several Brazilian voice actors such as Guilherme Briggs, Marco Ribeiro and her daughter Bia Menezes and even actress Maite Perroni sent their condolences on her sad death.
