Death of Chuck Jones

R.I.P. Chuck. All of the Looney Tunes characters still miss you.

On February 22, 2002, legendary animator Chuck Jones sadly passed away at the age of 89 in his home due to heart failure. Chuck was famously known for directing Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons along with partner Isadore Freleng at Warner Bros. Cartoons. Jones also directed How the Grinch Stole Christmas and a collection of his own Tom and Jerry shorts for 4 years.

Chuck may not be here anymore, but his legacy of the golden-age of animation will always be remembered along with Mel Blanc, Isadore Freleng, and various other legendary people.
