David Mitton (February 27, 1939 - May 16, 2008) was a British director, producer, and writer best known for directing Thomas & Friends and TUGS.
Death
David Mitton suffered a heart attack and died on May 16, 2008, at the age of 69. His death was not announced until May 28, 2008. Many fans made tribute videos dedicated to him.
