Cause: Suicide (gunshot)

Justin Carmical, better known by his online name, JewWario, was a member of Channel Awesome, a website that hosted a number of internet reviewers. He did a series of reviews covering Japanese games that could be played on the Super Famicom. During his time on the site, he became known for his friendly demeanor and good deeds.

Death

In January of 2014, Justin committed suicide via gunshot. He had many friends at Channel Awesome who mourned him after his suicide.

4 years after his suicide, allegations of sexual misconduct arose. Even though he had been dead for several years at this point and these allegations were never confirmed, most of his friends at Channel Awesome disavowed him and removed tributes to him, even going so far as to edit him out of their videos. Fortunately, Doug Walker, his brother Rob, and Spoony, another Channel Awesome contributor, still continue to honor his memory.
