The death of Rachael Lillis was an event involving the death of a voice actor and scriptwriter named Rachael Lillis, who was best known for providing voices in English dubs of series like Pokémon (Misty, Jessie) and Winx Club (Faragonda, Lucy). The event happened on Aug 10, 2024 and she died at age 55 because of breast cancer, which she was initially diagnosed with in May 2024, three months prior, where her breast cancer spread to her spine, which left her barely able to walk, and she eventually moved into a Los Angeles nursing home to receive care.
Trivia
- Her death has a few similarities to Janice Burgess'. Both of them were involved in at least some way in the Italian animated series, Winx Club, and both died in the same year (2024) due to breast cancer.
- Early reports about her death stated that she was 46 years old, but it was later confirmed by her sister that she was 55, with these reports being updated to include the correct dates.
