Doraemon: Nobita no Time Machine Daibouken (ドラえもん: のび太のタイムマシン大冒険) is a game developed and published by Epoch in 1985 for the Super Cassette Vission, and is based off the 1979 series.

Bad Qualities

  1. To start with, the game came out in 1985, while the movie Doraemon: Nobita's Little Star Wars (the 1985 one) came out in March 16, 1985, yet the game doesn't follow any episode of the anime or the movie.
  2. Poor graphics, even for 1985 standards. Not to mention, one of the first release titles for NES, Super Mario Bros. released the same year, looks better than this.
  3. All you do in each level is "find the item and beat the level", which makes sense because the Cassette Vision lacks platformers.
  4. Very short for a Super Cassette Vision game. There are only 3 levels in the entire game.
  5. Doraemon cannot jump in this game, he can only use his Bamboo-Copter to move around.
    • If you look closely, he's actually slower, while the Bamboo-Copter is faster.
  6. Doraemon's friends are useless in the game, since they don't help you (except Gian in the first level). Instead, they walk around.
    • And even if they do help you, it's only for the part of the time machine in said level.
  7. This game is too easy, you can barely get hit in the game, making this lives incredibly pointless.

Good Qualities

  1. Nice music, despite being a bit repetitive.
  2. For a Super Cassette game, the box-art is nice.
  3. The Doraemon sprite is very good and is pretty much the best sprite from the game.

Trivia

  • This game is rare to find. However, there's an available ROM of the game.
