"End of the World" (French: "La Fin du Monde") is the tenth episode from season two of Zig & Sharko and the eighty-eighth episode overall. It was written by Andrès Fernandez & Cédric Dietsch and storyboarded by Alexandre Viano.

Plot

In this episode, A meteorite is approaching the earth! It's panic on the beach but Zig refuses to die without having eaten his siren! Bad luck, he finds himself, despite himself, embarked with Sharko aboard a rocket to destroy the asteroid.

Why It's Not The End of the World

  1. It manage to tell what it's want in only 7 minutes, which is impressive for a premise that center on the end of the world legend.
  2. It is the most emotional episode of the show, especially the scene where both Sharko and Marina would kiss together before it is "the end of the world", though they didn't because finally it wasn't really the end.
  3. The animation is better than usual due to being a little bit more detailed and being colorful despite that the colors being a little bit darker in the middle of the episode.
  4. All of the characters are likable in this episode, even if Zig was a bit unlikable at the beginning to Bernie but to be fair he didn't believe that it was the end of the world or he didn't know at least.
  5. The title card is very good and once again fit the theme of the episode due to being a bit darker but still detailed and having good colors.
  6. Good musics, despite not being as good as the previous episodes, this is mostly because of the fact that it fit the episode theme of end of world and also it isn't overused like some other episodes.
  7. Despite the main focus being a sad episode, it balance sad moments and funny moments, since there's also some funny moments in this episode, such as the ending when Zig got in fire for exemple.
  8. The scene where Zig and Sharko try to destroy the rocket with a lot of things is really funny and the most funny scene of the episode, especially the moment where Zig try to stop Sharko from entering the ship.
  9. It is one of the few episodes where Zig doesn't try to eat Marina (though this is in a certain extend because he did try when Sharko got in the ship).
  10. Good ending: It wasn't the end of the world because the meteorite was going destroyed and Zig got himself hit by it to save the world.
  11. Good moral: It properly knows how kids to be professionally prepared to do things if the real end is coming.

Bad Qualities

  1. Zig is a little bit unlikable at the beginning of the episode because of the fact that he did almost reject Bernie when he did cry because of the "end of the world", but to be fair he might not know that it would gonna happen.
  2. The scene Zig was in fire is a bit disturbing for some younger childrens.
