Plot

Eric and Alan switch their bodies, causing Eric, in Alan's body, to show popularity.

Why It's Not Amazing

  1. This is an Alan, in Eric's body, torture episode, due to Eric switching his and Alan's body, for the sake of popularity.
  2. Misleading title card: The title card features a first half containing a man having white hair and an ugly face, especially the pink eye, but in this episode, it features Eric and Alan switching bodies.
  3. The opening scene starts with students from Sidekick Academy jeering Eric for his unpopularity, which heavily implies that he is an absolute jerk in many episodes.
  4. This episode is also mean-spirited to Eric, including Alan in Eric's body:
    • When Eric asks Vana about going on a date, she slams on Eric using a locker, likely due to her falling in love with Alan.
    • Master XOX uses a weapon to shoot Eric, because of his unpopularity, and it happens twice.
    • Pamplemoose gives Eric in Alan's body an F- for being unpopular.
    • The next day, Alan, in Eric's body becomes tortured during his routine; such as not functioning the snooze button and mechanical arms ruining his face.
    • Eric and Alan fight, because they wanted to switch their bodies, using XOX's gadget that sucks people's brains, since Eric, in Alan's body refuses to.
    • When Maxum Brain refuses to let Alan in, he ripped off his shirt.
    • As a result of Alan being stupid, Vana becomes disgusted, Pamplemoose gives him a failing grade, and the mayor gives back the key.
  5. There are some gross-out moments:
    • Eric vomiting in the opening scene, albeit off-screen.
    • Eric, in Alan's body shows his ear hair, filled with a small amount of earwax.
    • During the bathroom scene, when the robotic hands remove Alan's face, he shows his skinless face.
    • If Eric, in Alan's body is popular for not being amazing, he is shown to be fat, and defecates his pants.
    • Alan, in Eric's body and Trevor pick their noses.
  6. Stupid ending: After Eric and Alan revert back to their normal bodies, the former states that he will no longer need his respect, expectations, nor his personal hygiene; showing that he will lose a life and get sick often.

Amazing Qualities

  1. Trevor, Vana, Kitty, Pamplemoose, and the Mayor are the only likable characters in this episode.
  2. The scene where Alan, in Eric's body nervously plays the piano is hilarious, alongside the scene where he acts like a monkey.
  3. While the ending is stupid, at least Master XOX shoots a cannonball at Eric, creating a satisfying ending.
