Plot

Zig tries every trick in the book to reach, cook and eat Marina, the mermaid. But no matter how smart his schemes are, Sharko keeps outsmarting him.

Why It's Fishy

  1. It was a good way to start Zig & Sharko, one of the most iconic French show.
  2. It introduce the characters very well (except for Sharko), and we can see how the quest of Zig to eat Marina started, additionaly, most of the characters are likable.
  3. Zig plans are really funny and never fail to make us laugh.
  4. Good animation for a first episode, since it is very fluid and the colors are good, even though it isn't as good as the next episodes.
  5. Good musics that are fun to listen to.
  6. The scene where Sharko eats Zig, then spits him out to make it look like a furball is hilarious, complete with his squeal.

Bad Qualities

  1. Sharko is a bit unlikable since he always punch Zig when he try to go toward Marina, in which at the time he wasn't even avare that Zig wanted to eat Marina.
  2. Half-Bad Ending: Zig is hungry and chase Bernie for trying to eat him, and while it is a funny scene, it count as a torture for Bernie.
