Fruit Caboose is the first episode of the first season of Lu & the Bally Bunch and the first episode overall.

Plot

Lu's upset when Declan takes a bite of her pear.

Why It Needs to "STOP SHOUTING!"

1. This episode uses lame generic sharing plot that's been used in other preschool show episodes.
2. Declan was unlikable in this episode because he wasn't grateful about getting an orange from the fruit caboose instead of a pear that Lu got. Then when everyone's eating, Declan took a bite out of her pear, causing an argument between the both of them.
3. Lu is also unlikable because she argued and yelled at Declan over him taking a bite out of her pear. Sure she's in the right, but she overreacted over the fact that he only just took a nibble out of it. If he tried to take it from her and ate it whole, it would've been more understandable.
4. Shella doesn't even scold Lu for yelling at Declan and starting an argument with him over a pear, nor does she punish Declan for eating her pear behind her back. Instead she just solves the problem by splitting the pear in half, which comes off as too predictable.
5. This annoying exchange between Lu, Declan and Biba:
   • Declan! You bit my pear!
   • No I didn't...
   • Yes you did, I just saw you, it's still in your mouth!
   • Okay I did, you said it’s nice to share when we shared the blue blocks earlier.
   • That’s different! I asked you, if you wanted to share the blocks! You just took a bite and didn’t ask me!
   • Well you got the only one and that's not FAIR!
   • It was MY pear!
   • It was only a BITE!
   • STOP SHOUTING!!!
     • As for that last line, while Biba's tolerable, she told Lu and Declan to stop yelling at each other even though she's hypocritically yelling, too.
6. This episode tries to teach viewers the moral that "Sharing Is Caring", but failed miserably due to Lu and Declan's petty argument over a stupid pear.
7. Declan does not get any comeuppances in this episode, thus starting the show on a bad note.

Redeeming Qualities

1. The first few minutes of the episode are quite alright until Declan took a bite out of her pair without asking.
2. Gus, Barnaby, Elodie and Biba (despite her yelling in the argument scene) are the only tolerable characters.
