Full House is an American television sitcom that aired on ABC from September 22, 1987, to May 23, 1995.

Plot

When Danny Tanner's wife dies, the San Francisco sportscaster gets support in the form of two new roommates: brother-in-law and party boy Jesse, and his stand-up comic friend, Joey. The duo helps out with raising the three Tanner daughters: D.J, Stephanie and Michelle.

Why It Rocks

  1. Catchy theme song. You can listen to it here.
  2. The characters are all likable and memorable, like Danny, Jesse, Joey, Lori, D.J, Jodie and Michelle.
  3. Top-notched acting. Except from the Olsen twins.
  4. Steve Urkel from Family Matters makes a cameo appearance in one episode.
  5. Some episodes tackle serious issues, like the episode "The Last Dance" where Jesse's grandfather dies and the episode, "Silence is Not Golden" where one character talks about his abusive homelife.
  6. Some cute and funny moments with Michelle, even if their acting is not that great.
  7. It has a sequel, Fuller House which holds up the legacy pretty well.

Bad Qualities

  1. The episode "My Left Foot and My Right Foot" is a bit disturbing.
  2. Some of the characters don't really have much memorable personalities.
  3. Some of the epiodes' plots are a bit dully written like "You Pet It, You Bought It" where Michelle buys a horse that causes problems for the family. That's mostly what goes on in the episode.
  4. The Olsen twins' acting is mediocre, and their characters just mostly say exclamative lines that aren't really all that funny most of the time.
  5. The sequel, Fuller House holds up the legacy pretty well, but unfortunately, it got mixed-to-negative reviews from some critics.
  6. Some jokes can be painfully unfunny.
