The following reason has been specified: Kinda hard to say that these seasons are bad when the page has generic pointers, only 9 bad episodes when there are more good episodes, the crossovers and the film were great along with the series finale and the character flandarization isn't very noticeable, so yeah, even these seasons managed to be good, despite the fourth one being the weakest out of all

Hannah Montana is an American teen sitcom created by Michael Poryes, Rich Correll, and Barry O'Brien for Disney Channel.

While the first two seasons of Hannah Montana were well received, the last 2 seasons of the show received mixed to negative reviews from both fans and critics alike.

Why These Seasons are the Worst of Both Worlds

  1. This aged horribly, due to the fact that Miley Cyrus has literally BEEN SEXUALIZED during a performance with Robin Thicke at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. This prompted Disney Channel to pull the show from reruns, and Toys "R" Us to pull toys and merchandise off shelves.
  2. Miley has been flanderized, now acting more like a Mary Sue.
  3. Besides Miley, there are still some other unlikable characters.
  4. Terrible acting from Miley Cyrus. You can easily tell that she was getting tired of the show.
  5. There are more mean-spirited moments in these seasons, especially with the jokes.
  6. The plots became less clever and entertaining, with Miley causing more bad things to happen due to becoming a negative influence.
  7. The humor has noticeably downgraded, as most of it during these seasons is very unfunny and annoying.
  8. Oliver is no longer the main character in season 4, which was not good (although, he did guest appear twice in that season).
  9. These seasons have lots of awful episodes, such as:
    • "Killing Me Softly With His Height";
    • "Papa's Got a Brand New Friend";
    • "Knock Knock Knockin' on Jackson's Head";
    • "You Give Lunch a Bad Name";
    • "Once, Twice, Three Times Afraidy";
    • "B-B-B-Bad to the Chrome";
    • "Uptight (Oliver's All Right)";
    • "Come Fail Away";
    • "California Screamin'";

Good Qualities are the Best of Both Worlds

  1. The rest of the acting is still decent for the most part.
  2. The songs can still be amazing, especially season 3 and 4’s version of the theme song, and "Wherever I Go".
  3. There are still some likable characters, like Lilly, Jackson and Oliver.
    • Oliver did at least appear twice in Season 4, which was nice.
    • Miley can sometimes have her original personality.
  4. Noah Cyrus (Miley Cyrus’ little sister) made a guess appearance in "Love That Lets Go".
  5. There are still some good episodes, like:
    • "Promma Mia";
    • "He Could Be the One";
    • "Super(stitious) Girl" (part of the awesome crossover special with Wizards of Waverly Place and The Suite Life on Deck, "Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana");
    • "Judge Me Tender";
    • "The Wheel Near My Bed (Keeps on Turnin')";
    • "Miley Says Goodbye?";
    • "It's the End of the Jake as We Know It";
    • "Love That Lets Go";
    • "I'll Always Remember You";
    • The show’s movie, "Hannah Montana: The Movie", which took place during season 3, was also good.
    • The show ended greatly with a very touching finale called "Wherever I Go".
