Plot

The contestants must hide before Chef catches them in the challenge. Meanwhile, Owen, DJ, Duncan, and Geoff made an alliance to vote Bridgette, after getting sprayed by the skunk.

Why It's Sneaky (In a Bad Way)

  1. This episode has the wasted potential of an otherwise decent episode: the whole challenge must hide to prevent getting caught by Chef Hatchet, which is too generic for Total Drama standards like this, compared to the others where most challenges have more challenging themes like jumping off the cliff and cooking foods to score points.
  2. Much of the contestants get tortured, except Leshawna, due to them finding a terrible hiding spot, only to get blasted with a water gun by Chef Hatchet.
    • Lindsay is the worst offender because she cannot find a proper hiding spot to hide.
      • Heather hides under the table before Chef blasts her and Lindsay.
      • Bridgette hides behind the Campfire Ceremony right before the skunk sprays her with eye musk, causing Chef to blast her to stop being smelly.
      • Izzy hides on the ceiling before she and Chef engage in a fight.
      • Gwen hides using fake grass so that Chef would not see her, but he steps on her leg.
      • Duncan hides in a cave where the guys do a conversation, only to get caught by Chef.
      • Geoff hides on top of the tree so that Chef would not see him, but gets caught by kicking it.
      • Both DJ and Owen get caught by the Chef after their weights crash through the roof of the mess hall.
  3. Izzy fighting Chef is a filler, albeit in a decent way.
  4. The opening scene is mean-spirited as Heather drinks the purple grape soda into believing that it is sugar water, which cause her to spit it out.
    • The flashback is also mean-spirited where Heather turns off the hot water, causing Gwen to exclaim in disgust, while Leshawna slaps Heather on the face, resulting in a fight, until it gets worse and more frantic.
  5. Several contestants have idiotic moves in this challenge.
    • Outside of Lindsay, others like DJ and Owen would have found a better hiding spot instead of staying on the rooftop.
    • Chef would have get the tomato paste to pour it on Bridgette so that she can stop smelling bad.
    • Owen would have hugged DJ and Duncan instead of kissing them, which is idiotic. Granted, The Big Sleep also did this, but Noah kissing Cody is considered accidental instead of intentional.
  6. The challenge is just nonsensical and unfair as one of the rules says that if a camper helps Chef find someone, they win immunity. Heather does this by helping chef, meaning that she could not be voted off that episode. This immunity just feels undeserved by Heather and it only exists just to give Heather plot armor.
  7. Bad Ending: After the guys vote off Bridgette due to her skunk smell, Geoff forgot to vote her off, forcing him to sleep in the sleeping bag while hanging on the tree branch as a punishment.
    • Speaking of which, Geoff attempts to kiss Bridgette, but due to the skunk smell, he flees and waves her goodbye.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Everyone is likable in this episode.
  2. Izzy fighting against Chef is good, despite being filler.
  3. Chef accidentally spraying Chris with water is hilarious, and the latter shouts: "NOT ON ME, DUDE!"
