Plot

Feeling frustrated over his duty as a Mayor, the Mayor of Townsville sets up his new persona in order to make him a hero, but he makes wrong decisions.

Bad Qualities

  1. The Mayor is at his absolute worst in this episode. At first he started off as a completely lazy mayor who is only there to keep Townsville safe instead of helping them with the Powerpuff Girls, then he throws tantrums after he called the girls again, and when Ms. Bellum arrives, he did not take criticisms when he stated that he feels great.
    • In the hot-air balloon scene, he uses the Equalizer to fight and beat up innocents, showing that he, again, did not take criticism and cause more harm than good.
  2. The first half of this episode is filler, until the Mayor and Ms. Bellum introduce the hot-air balloon.
  3. The female cleaning staff at the evening serves no purpose in this episode and she is only there to angrily tell the Mayor about the situation at the start.
  4. The scene where the Mayor uses the Equalizer to hurt innocents is very mean-spirited, especially when he uses it to push the button for the missiles.
  5. Half-bad ending: Even when the Powerpuff Girls saved the day by stopping the missiles, the Mayor uses the Equalizer to punch the missile, causing everyone, the girls, and himself to get hurt.
    • Even worse, the Mayor suffers no consequences for his mean-spirited and cruel actions

Good Qualities

  1. Ms. Bellum and the Powerpuff Girls are likable in this episode.
  2. The scene where the Mayor uses the Equalizer to beat up villains or criminals is a good scene, but it gets worse when it progresses.
  3. At least this episode did a decent job of saying sorry to the Mayor about the situation before, and because of that the girls tell him that he needs to call them when there is trouble while sitting down, thus giving this episode a half-decent ending.
