"Intro" is the 22nd episode of the eighth season of Teen Titans Go!, and the 387th overall episode of the series.

Plot

Control Freak leads the Titans on a chase through various cartoon intro sequences.

Why This Episode Should Have Outros Instead

  1. The main problem with this episode is that they still haven't recovered even after being on the air for 10 years now. It is yet another hater episode that insults viewers from fans of the programs shown, showing that the series didn't learn its lesson of criticism jabbing. what doesn't help is that they casually added toilet humor in The Jetsons intro.
    • Second, not only that but they mocked Batman: The Animated Series too, not even the modern seasons of Family Guy would be this disrespectful to the franchise.
    • To add salt to injury: They made fun of The Flintstones, which will be airing on MeTVToons in June, but that doesn't help either.
  2. The animation here is actually more cheap when compared to other episodes in the series due to reusing footage from television show openings rather than reanimating them. It doesn't help that it has plenty of noticeable animation errors which make this episode already rushed in production, like for instance:
    • When the Titans chase Control Freak in The Flintstones intro, it shows Starfire's boot is somehow broken, to which she has blisters on her foot. In another shot, her boot is somehow fixed.
    • Raven's assumption that there are no real monsters in the Scooby-Doo franchise is incorrect. The gang have encountered real monsters multiple times in the series. In fact, the very monster that Control Freak dresses as is, in fact, the first real monster of the franchise.
    • Raven becomes Lady Legasus at one point during The Flintstones chase. But when they go into the drive-in theater, she's back to her normal persona.
  3. And yes, there's plot holes:
    • How the hell can the TTG titans not recognize their 2003 counterparts? The Original Teen Titans seem to not recognize their Go! counterparts despite meeting in Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans, but it is possible this episode takes place before those events.
    • How do the TTG titans know the Jetsons? (Not counting the throwaway line in the Superhero Summer Camp miniseries where Cyborg had a one nightstand with Rosie, their maid robot, we’re not even kidding!)
    • Why and HOW is Starfire's foot fixed immediately after she had these so called "blisters"?
  4. The voice acting has gone from decent and good, to annoying and jarring up to the point where even the English dub of Smile Pretty Cure is better than this!
  5. "WELMAAAAAAAAA!" can get on your last nerve as they could have gotten his current voice actor for Fred Flintstone (Jeff Bergman) and this would've been avoided.
  6. In the ending, they gave the Teen Titans series the biggest middle finger possible and made fun of the people who made this. The worst intro of all, not helping that one of the scenes are inappropriate for children. INCLUDING the scenes where Beast Boy turns into a gorilla and shows his butt to the audience, and then Robin falls on his head and shows his butt as well.
  7. Overall, this episode is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge screw you not only Teen Titans (2003), but also to any WB-owned animated series in general.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. The concept of the Titans having to travel various television show intros is an interesting idea, and could've had potential, but was botched horribly.
