Iron Man: Armored Adventures (also known in early promotional materials as Iron Man: The Animated Series) is a 3D CGI cartoon series loosely based on the Marvel Comics superhero Iron Man. It debuted in the USA on Nicktoons on April 24, 2009, and it aired on the canadian network Teletoon.

Why It's Armored Up

  1. The CGI animation is incredibly stylized and looked decent for the time.
  2. The idea of turning Tony Stark into a teenager is pretty interesting.
  3. The action scenes are cool.
  4. Awesome villains, such as Mandarin, MODOK (or MODOC), Whiplash, and more.
  5. The writing is pretty solid and Tony is more relatable as a teen than he was as an adult.
  6. Despite the name of the show, it features some other Marvel characters, such as Hulk, Nick Fury, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Black Panther, the X-Men, and even Iron Man 2099 from the Marvel 2099 universe.
  7. Fantastic kickass theme song.
  8. There are some references to other Marvel media here and there, such as Spider-Man and Captain America being referenced (and possibly hinted at for a third season) and the season 1 finale is named after the comic series Iron Man first appeared in, Tales Of Suspense.
  9. The series finale is really good.

Bad Qualities

  1. While the finale is pretty good, the show ended way too soon, especially since the third season could of covered subjects such as the heroes that were hinted at appearing.
  2. While the animation are decent, some scenes look stiff and low quality.
