Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 is a Supercross racing game developed by Acclaim Studios Salt Lake City and published by Acclaim Entertainment for the Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Dreamcast and Game Boy Color in 2000.
It is the sequel to Jeremy McGrath Supercross 98 and the predecessor to Jeremy McGrath Supercross World.
Bad Qualities
- Awful framerate, mainly reaching beyond ten frames per second.
- Poor graphics, especially on the Dreamcast port.
- Horrible biker models, they barely have any frames of animation, and even have bad motion capture, which tends to be good in other Acclaim Sports titles.
- Unrealistic physics engine.
- Difficulty settings that can be way too easy or way too complicated.
- Poorly done controls.
- Horrible AI, they run at a fixed path and ether crash if an AI biker crashes or move past you if the player crashes their bike.
- Poor sound effects.
- Lousy and bland tracks, even though Jeremy McGrath himself helped make them.
- Poor use of the No Fear license.
- The invisible wall around the tracks gives the game very little to no challenge at all.
- The Stunt Arenas also featured add nothing to the gaming experience.
- Lack of any major modes like a championship or a career mode.
Good Qualities
- The box art is nice.
- Good soundtrack from the rock band The Offspring.
- Good selection of bikers to race as.
- The track editor does overstay its welcome and looks better than the in-game tracks itself and is also very easy to use.
