Plot

Susan and Mary create an invention that can cause an apocalypse, but Johnny and Dukey can use it to pass through walls.

Bad Qualities

  1. The concept of this episode focusing on black hole invention that can create an apocalypse is very dangerous in real life, since black holes themselves can suck objects and people and never come back.
  2. This is somewhat of a Johnny and Dukey torture episode as they are not only bullied by Bumper, but also terrorized by the soldiers from Chow Now.
  3. Bumper and the soldiers of Chow Now are unlikable as they are only there to terrorize Johnny and Dukey (later on Susan and Mary for the latter).
  4. Chow Now is a weird name for a Korean location in this episode.
  5. Johnny and Dukey ripping the Black hole is a bad idea since Susan and Mary would put them into trouble for playing both of these inventions.
    • Before that, he and Dukey steal the back hole just because they want to use it for fun when one of the ripped parts could collapse on itself and suck in the earth.
  6. In the Chow Now military base, the signs look confusing to watch, even though Dukey can read all three of them especially when the 4 characters see the cabinets containing computers.
  7. Johnny and Dukey become hypocritical at the end of the episode, despite the ending being good. As Dukey tells Susan and Mary that Black holes are a bad idea, Johnny keeps the small one as an emergency.

Good Qualities

  1. Johnny, Dukey, Susan, and Mary are likable characters in this episode.
  2. At least Dukey tells Susan and Mary that Black holes are a bad idea and the latter two keep the entire invention until Johnny tears a small one.
  3. Johnny uses a black hole to scare the bullies and uses both segments as part of their magic trick are clever scenes.
  4. Chow Now soldiers' line: "A talking dog!" "Run for your lives!"

Trivia

  • Dukey saying that "Cheese pants was the worst, but this is a close second" was used in the show Scot Fellows created, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.
