Johnnyitis is the first half of episode 7 and the 13th episode of Season 3, as well as the 67th episode overall of Johnny Test.

Plot

Johnny attempts to skip school by making him sick because Mr. Teacherman announces to everyone that there is a History Test coming.

Why It's Sickly

  1. The title card looks disgusting to watch.
    • Speaking of which, the title card shows Johnny having spots on his tongue, even though they do not appear in this episode.
  2. Johnny is at his absolute worst in this episode, as he wants to fake illness after Mr. Teacherman tells him that he did not study for the History test.
    • As a result, he drinks an isotope to make his face have spots and make his tongue purple.
    • However, he was only faking to be sick just so he could have more time to study for the Huge History Test as he stated at the beginning, but he could've at least study half of the time he was given and at least still pass.
      • Also note that he didn't bother to study after he was "confirmed" to be "sick", showing hypocrisy and lack of effort.
  3. This is also a Johnny torture episode as he wants to get away with the History test by making him sick.
  4. Johnny's attempts fail before he drinks an isotope:
    • He goes to Sissy's house to go on a visit while she is sick. Therefore, he needs to kiss her, but she has a cold, causing her to kick him out by punching him in the face.
    • He goes to the pharmacy store to see a sick woman, hugs her, and eats her tissue filled with phlegm (which is not visible).
    • He uses both beef noodle soup and hot cocoa mix to make like barf and dumps it in the toilet, but Hugh reminds Johnny that he needs corn to complete it, much to his chagrin.
  5. There are some mean-spirited moments:
    • Johnny screams loudly at Mr. Teacherman after the latter tells the former that he did not study.
    • Sissy punches Johnny in the face after he attempts to kiss her.
    • Johnny playing with the potions just so he can make him sick.
    • The nurse throws a dart on the flask so that both of them can drip, intercepting both of them.
  6. The flashback regarding the "Perfect Smile" experiment is the same as "101 Johnnies", but only Hugh's screaming is low-pitched.
  7. The scene where Dukey screams like a girl while zooming in his mouth. can scare viewers.
  8. Johnny complaining to people that he wants to get out of History tests can annoy viewers.
  9. Plot holes:
    • Johnny says that he wants his tongue "blue" but when he drinks too much isotope, his tongue becomes purple, which is also a goof or error.
    • When the nurse throws the dart on the flask, it drops and lands safely, even though flasks are fragile since they are made of glass and would break.
  10. Bad ending: After Johnny is cured of the isotope he drinks, he goes to school, but Mr. Teacherman gives him the History test, causing him to scream "NO!" in horror.
  11. Bad moral: Skipping school is good because you want to escape hard tasks, even though they are terrible decisions since the principal would expel them.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Everyone, except Johnny is likable in this episode.
  2. At least Johnny cures from the isotope after drinking an antidote, causing the doctors and the SWAT team to leave.
  3. Good moral: Always study for the quizzes and tests.

Trivia

  • This is the only appearance of Mrs. Blakesley, Sissy's mother.
  • Johnny attempts to kiss Sissy, even though he would freak him out while attempting to kiss in other episodes.
  • The flashback seen here is the same as 101 Johnnies, albeit Hugh's screaming is low-pitched.
