"Just One Bite" is a SpongeBob SquarePants episode from Season 3. In this episode, SpongeBob tries to get Squidward to try a Krabby Patty.

Why It Takes Just One Bite To Love This Episode

  1. Like the book "Green Eggs and Ham", the episode shows a good moral that it's okay to try new things even if you don't want to.
  2. Speaking of the classic Dr. Seuss story, this episode acts like a really good parody of the original book, except with no rhyming or alliteration from that book. SpongeBob acts as Sam I Am, and Squidward acts as Guy-Am-I.
  3. Here are two extremely funny faces that became internet memes.
    • One is the face where Squidward makes after he said: "Does this look unsure to you?"
    • And another face from where SpongeBob says "You like krabby patties, don't you Squidward?" when he found out Squidward actually likes Krabby Patties.
  4. The montage of SpongeBob trying to force feed Squidward to try the Krabby Patty is extremely funny.
  5. It's one of those SpongeBob episodes where SpongeBob makes a funny Squidward impression.
  6. Like all the SpongeBob episodes during seasons 1-3, the animation is great.
  7. Patrick in his cowboy suit has set up a really great joke.
  8. Squidward's lines are as funny as ever, with some highlights being "Oh please, I have no soul." and "HOLY SHRIMP!!".
  9. Good voice acting as usual.
  10. This was a good way to start Season 3 along with The Bully.

The Only Bad Quality With No Soul

  1. Some scenes can be disturbing like some of the close-ups or watching SpongeBob slowly eating the krabby patty.
    • The scene where Squidward tries to eat a krabby patty out of the garbage can is somewhat gross, especially when he opens his mouth and reveals the trash he accidentally ate.

Trivia

  • There is a deleted scene in this episode which consists in Squidward getting wet in gas and burnt (twice). Despite being officially removed in respect to the victims of the September 11th incident (or to not encourage children to ignite gas), the episode still shows this scene in Canada and Korea.
  • Most digital TV guides put this after The Bully.
