"Justin Bibelô" is the 16th an episode of the third season of As Aventuras de Gui & Estopa, originally premiered in 2012. This episode focuses on Cróquete trying to catch the attention of Justin Bibelô, a parody of Justin Bieber who is represented as an anthropomorphic rooster, at the mall while trying to avoid Gui and Piti so they don't find out she's a Bibelô fan.

Why Gui and Piti Shouldn't Be Justin Bibelô Fans

  1. To start, this episode was made just trying to catch Justin Bieber's success in his early career years, ironically being made at the time when Bieber was already starting to get involved in several controversies.
  2. This episode can also be considered one of those responsible for the flanderization of Cróquete in Season 3, as since this episode, she becomes more immature, ruder, and her obsession with Justin Bibelô remains in subsequent episodes.
  3. The episode introduces the new character Justin Bibelô, who is basically a reference to Justin Bieber, who unfortunately becomes a regular character and returns to appear in some other episodes of the show.
  4. The writing and jokes are very weak, basically Cróquete chasing and trying to interact with Justin Bibelô while trying to hide from Gui and Piti that she is a Bibelô fan.
  5. The running gag involving Gui and Piti saying "Hi Cróquete!" every time Cróquete fails to get Bibelô's attention it's very unfunny and annoying.
  6. Error mistake: At the beginning of the episode, several girl fans of Justin Bibelô appear at the mall to see him, but the girls disappear from the moment Bibelô appears leaving only Cróquete.
  7. As if it wasn't enough Cróquete became a Justin Bibelô fangirl, at the end of the episode, Gui and Piti also reveal themselves as Bibelô fans.
  8. Misleading title card: Bibelô looks different on the title card by having white skin/feathers and red hair or comb in addition to wearing a black hood, while in the episode he has yellow feathers, brown hair and wears a cap.
  9. Estopa doesn't appear at all, despite being one of the titular characters.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. The episode at least makes fun of the Beliebers' behavior and their obsession with Justin Bieber.
