Krusty Krushers is an episode from the sixth season of SpongeBob SquarePants.

Plot

Mr. Krabs enters SpongeBob and Patrick into a wrestling tournament.

Why It Krushes the Kompetition

  1. Much like "Sand Castles in the Sand", it's a pretty good episode from the dark era of SpongeBob.
    • It was also an improvement to Sean Charmatz's previous episode, "The Splinter".
  2. All of the characters are likable in this episode, except for Mr. Krabs.
  3. It's a well-written portrayal of how wresting goes in real life.
  4. The Bikini Bottom champs are very intimidating and very hilarious antagonists for the episode.
  5. Referee's hilarious "Oh, yeah. Al, send the mike down. We got fresh meat." quote.
  6. Humorous scenes such as the wrestlers turning SpongeBob and Patrick into cement and write in them and them luring SpongeBob and Patrick into sleep using lullaby just so they can use their Flying Double Decker Atomic Headbutt of Destruction on them.
  7. Epic scene such as Patrick unknowingly using his iron butt on the two wrestlers, shattering them into pieces that are then swept up by the janitor.
  8. Good ending: SpongeBob and Patrick won the tournament due to Patrick's iron butt defeating the champs. And right when Perch Perkins offers the choice of Wrestling Camp, SpongeBob and Patrick immediately choose it, which costs the amount of money they won.

Bad Qualities

  1. It's paired up with the infamous "The Card" (or a alright episode in the number code, "Ditchin"), which is not a good sign considering on how much negative reception the episode recieved.
  2. Mr. Krabs is unlikable in this episode. He tricked SpongeBob and Patrick to wrestle two opponents who are clearly much bigger and stronger than them just so they can win the cash prize for him without a single care about what would happen to them.
