Labels is the first part of episode 7 or the 19th episode of Season 2 of Dexter's Laboratory.

Plot

Fed up with Dexter not taking his things, he builds a label-making gun to take what they belong, but Dee Dee makes her gun to counter it.

Misleading Title Card: The label tapes for Dexter are purple, even though they are black in this episode.
Nonsensical Premise: Dexter and Dee Dee only make their respective labeling guns because they are fed up taking their things.
The entire episode is mean-spirited because both of them fight for their belongings until their parents arrive.
The opening starts off with the words "ONE DAY", which is questionable. It would be better to be "THE FIRST DAY".
Both Dexter and Dee Dee are horribly unlikable in this episode, and it shows.
- For example, Dee Dee keeps taking Dexter's things at the beginning because "she doesn't see his name on them", which caused Dexter's behavior in this episode to begin with
- Dexter wears a ring resembling the one Radio Raheem uses and smashes not only the waffle but also the entire kitchen.
- Dexter tricked Dee Dee that she is upstairs in her room, but most of the stuff is labeled with "DEXTER" in it.
Dexter drinking the apple juice can somewhat pad out the episode's length.
Bad Ending: Dexter and Dee Dee's parents scold Dexter for making a mess, even though Dee Dee also makes a mess for making labels. As a punishment, Dexter's Dad sends Dexter into Dee Dee's room to make labels, while his Mom notices the carpet is wet, implying that Dexter urinated all over the floor before and it counts as gross-out humor.

Dexter and Dee Dee's parents are the only likable characters in this episode.
The Puppet Pals Pants is the only hilarious scene.
- Dexter's Parents calling everything in the house by their labels might also raise a laugh or two.

Dexter wearing a ring Radio Raheem wore is a reference to the 1989 film, Do the Right Thing.
