Plot

Oggy goes out to take out the garbage but just when he walks back in the house, he realizes that the cockroaches have locked the door and he need to find a way to get in his house.

Why It Should Be Locked Outside

  1. It's one of the most horrible Oggy torture episodes to date, as the Cockroaches constantly make him stop to get in his own house!
    • It is also one of the absolute worst torture episode from the whole show, and is just as bad as "7 Minutes and Counting", which is quite a big achivement because of how bad that episode also was.
  2. The Cockroaches are very unlikeable and keep Oggy outside, they are as well possibly at their absolute worst in the entire show since even if they're mean to be unlikable, here they just downright goes too far (though not as bad as in "7 Minutes and Counting").
    • In fact they are even more cruel than usual, as proven by WISBLO#5 where they taunt Oggy with pizza, food and TV, which is extremely unwatchable, and this is to the point of being at their absolute worst.
  3. Whenever Oggy tries to get in, he fails, and the way he fail are just horrible to see because in this episode, the slapsticks is very painful to see rather than funny.
  4. Plot Hole: Why does Oggy in the beginning didn't tried to get in the windows more quickly than he did, especially that it would not made any more madness than what happened here.
  5. A sad scene where Oggy is crying and begging the roaches to let him in but the cockroaches are taunting him with pizza, food, and TV, which is extremely mean-spirited, even for Oggy standards.
  6. Bob is not better than the cockroaches as he pummels Oggy when he is stuff inside a pipe, even if he appear only in that scene.
    • This show how mean he is, since when Oggy is here, he's always going to make him suffer, which is howewer much worst in this episode due to all the horrible things that happen.
  7. There's a scene where Oggy looks HORRIBLY bashed, and it's all accompanied by some creepy music and a cracked bones sound.
    • Not to mention that this scene is absolutely horrible to see as not only does the creepy music is the worst part of it but also due to Oggy being almost dead, it might scare a lot of young childrens who watch the show.
    • That kind of music they used in that scene is also out of place in a Oggy episode.
      • Even worse, this music would be heard in another episode title card, which could make some peoples either frustrated or disturbed.
  8. "Half-Bad Ending": Oggy gets inside his house, but when he tries to open the door to Jack, Dee Dee eat the key and this had made Oggy cries and the episode ends with Jack try to get the coackroaches.
    • This is made worst by the fact that the Coackroaches had the key and that Dee Dee eat it, which was why he did cried.
  9. Overall, due to how much Oggy suffer and the fact that the coackroaches are out of character, this feel more like a fanfiction than a normal Oggy episode.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The plot was a good concept as it could lead to some very funny slapsticks, but this episode was horribly executed.
  2. A funny scene in which Joey hits Oggy's toes with two hammers, and it is the only funny scene of the whole episode.
  3. Oggy and Jack (in the second half) are likable characters, and we can easily feel sorry for Oggy due to being horribly treated in this episode.
    • In fact, Jack even helped Oggy to enter his house, showing how much he care for Oggy.
  4. Great animation as usual, especially in the remake.
  5. Aside from the creepy music used for when Oggy was bashed, the soundtrack is still good as usual.
  6. "Half-Decent Ending": Oggy was very happy as he gets inside his house. After noticing that the house is still locked, Jack gets mad at the roaches for stealing the key and Deedee eats it, which makes him chase the roaches, resulting in comeuppance.
    • The fact that the coackroaches get comeuppance is also the reason of why the ending is half decent, because if they would be karma houdini then the ending would be just horrible.
