Lola & Virginia is a Spanish-French animated children's television series, created by Myriam Ballesteros. The plot involves Lola, a young girl growing up in a working class family facing off against Virginia, a stuck-up bratty rich girl.

The series would later receive a live action remake in 2011.

Plot

Two 12-year-old girls fight over friends, boys, and clothing on a daily basis.

Bad Qualities

  1. The idea of two 12-year old girls fight over friends on a daily basis, while decent, was poorly executed.
  2. These are several simliarities to other shows as:
  3. Lots of mediocre to bad episodes.
  4. Mean-spirited nature targeted toward Lola.
  5. Unfunny humor.
  6. The show teaches plenty of bad morals.
  7. The pacing is mediocre.
  8. Virginia Toffen is a mean-spirited popular girl to Lola.

Good Qualities

  1. Lola. Charley, Poppy, Lucas, Agi, Yukio, Marco, Chuck and Ana are all likable characters.
  2. The characters designs are good.
  3. Incredible voice acting.
  4. Amazing soundtrack.
  5. The show teaches some good morals.
  6. The theme song was impressive and cool.
  7. The animation is great.
  8. It does have good episodes.

Reception

Lola & Virginia (2006) has a 4.9 out of 10.[1]
