MTV 80s is a channel featuring music videos from the 1980s. It has a commercial-free schedule.

Why It Plays It Loud (In A Good Way)

  1. Loads and loads of countless amazing songs such as "I Want To Break Free", "Radio Ga-Ga", "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen, "Take on Me" from Ah-a, "Sweet Child O Mine" and "Paradise City" from Guns'N'Roses, "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" from Tears for Fears, "Beat It", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Bad" from Michael Jackson and the list goes on.
  2. There are songs from movies such as Survivor's "Eye of Tiger" and "Burning Heart" from Rocky III and Rocky IV respectively, Jan Hammer's "Crockett's Theme" from Miami Vice, Berlin's "Take My Breath Away" from Top Gun and it goes on.
  3. Also, there are songs that does not play in radio stations at all such as Neneh Cherry's "Buffalo Stance", "Manchild", Thompson Twins "Take Me Up", Chris Rea's "Road To Hell", Paul Hardcastle's "19", Sabrina's "Boys", Prince's "Sign O'Times", Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers's "Swing The Mood" and the list goes on.
  4. Some songs are emotional and heartwarming.
  5. Most of music videos are entertaining and fun to watch.
  6. There are no bad and/or annoying sounds that can be added in Horrible Music Wiki.
  7. The intro is amazing.
  8. This channel overall marks the sign of MTV returning to being a music channel.
  9. Over days, they add more new music videos from 80s making the channel much more unique and feel less repetitive.

The Only Bad Quality.

  1. The channel closed in 28 April 2022 in Russia and 14 December 2022 in Belarus, although for a justifiable reason, as that year it is still war, and as many of the big companies closed in these countries, MTV 80s was not an exception.
