Mall Cop i the second half of episode 2 and the 4th episode of Season 4, as well as the 82nd episode of Cow and Chicken.

Plot

After Cow and Chicken bought clothes, the latter is accused of shoplifting, causing Red Guy, the mall cop, to arrest them.

Why It Should Have Been Arrested By The Real Mall Cops

1. This is a 7-minute Cow and Chicken torture episode.
2. In the opening scene, both Cow and Chicken are somewhat impatient:
   • Chicken wants to go to the arcade, but his father interferes to wait for Cow to buy clothes.
   • Cow wants something to eat in the restaurant, but her father tells her what dress is she buying.
3. Before she leaves the clothes store, the electronic article surveillance (EAS) suddenly alarms on Cow, causing the police to call Red Guy, as a mall cop.
4. Red Guy as a mall cop is oblivious to the point that Cow and Chicken are thieves, causing him to chase them before he finds them out.
   • He is somewhat perverted in the changing rooms while looking for Cow and Chicken.
5. Plot Holes:
   • Red Guy has a vehicle with a cord that is not that short. However, he rides it farther during the scene where he chases Cow and Chicken.
   • Cow would have gotten the other shopping bags she bought while Red Guy was chasing. Additionally, if the remaining shopping bags that Cow forgot to get survive without getting crushed by the tire that Red Guy is riding.
6. Dad is pointless in two scenes:
   • One where he is doing a foot spa.
   • The other one is where he is doing a pedicure. Speaking of which, Dad having painted toenails makes no sense since it only works on females.

Redeeming Qualities

1. Cow, Chicken, and Dad are likable characters in this episode.
2. The opening scene is good until the EAS accidentally alarms on Cow, causing Red Guy to chase her and Chicken.
3. Good Twist and Satisfying Ending: It is revealed that when Cow attempts to cross the EAS for the second time, it is revealed that the alarm is not one, meaning that she is innocent. The worker states that the EAS has been broken for weeks. Before Red Guy angrily scolds Cow, the EAS alarm triggers causing the real mall cops to appear and arrest Red Guy.
