You can blame on Shawne Merriman for this crappy football game.

NFL Tour is an American football game released in early 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. It is the final game in the NFL Street series.

Why It's No Tour

  1. Executive meddling: It was originally going to be released as NFL Street 4, which would have marked the series' true debut on next generation consoles, but EA ditched the idea and turned it into a game that throws out some elements from the Arena Football games.
  2. It lacks the wit and charm of the previous NFL Street games.
  3. Style moves are very limited.
  4. The A.I. is broken, especially that of defense.
  5. The stadiums are literally similar.
  6. There are only night-time games.
  7. Lazy playbook design, for the most part.
  8. Players have little to no dialogue.
  9. Horrible commentary that was done by Trey Wingo.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. It features an okay selection of licensed songs.

Reception

NFL Tour received unfavorable reviews from the critics. On Metacritic, it holds a score of 49 for the Xbox 360 and 45 for the PlayStation 3.[1]
