Nick Studio 10 was a short-lived programming block that aired on Nickelodeon from February 18 to June 17, 2013. It was cancelled by Nickelodeon before the end of the summer season due to negative reviews and reception it received from critics, other fans of Nickelodeon and even children. As a result of this, the afternoon programs were left unhosted.

Why It Was A Fart in a Jar

  1. It interrupted episodes of shows like SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents for stupid reasons. It didn't even show the scene they interrupted, therefore missing what could be a critical moment.
    • Thankfully, the interruption routine went away after only a few weeks in March 2013.
    • The skits are also unfunny and a waste of time, such as a monkey shoving a computer off a table, or a set of robots dancing while chanting "Stretch you legs!"
  2. The voice acting is horrible.
  3. Wastes talents and used a ton of food products.
  4. The infamous and gross "Fart in a Jar" song, we do not need to explain this.
  5. Unfunny humor like such as a seal screaming.
  6. The whole show was used for filler.
  7. The actors taking part in this show are not funny. They are obnoxious, cliche, overreacting, aggravating, and annoying people at the same time.
  8. Boring soundtrack.
  9. Bad theme song.
  10. Annoying background music.
  11. The creators started flame wars on Twitter with YouTuber The Archfiend after he posted videos on YouTube criticizing them.
  12. They mocked the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "SpongeBob You're Fired". While it didn't matter much because the episode wasn't good, they still shouldn't mock something ahead of time.
  13. It was a horrible attempt at recreating the beloved U-Pick Live, which takes all the cleverness and charm of that.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. The theme song, while bad, is catchy.

Reception

As mentioned above, Nick Studio 10 was panned by critics, fans of Nickelodeon, and children alike who criticized the block's unfunny humor, terrible acting, waste of talent and food, interruptions of other Nickelodeon shows with "important announcements" that were simply "random equals funny" clips, and most importantly the "Fart in a Jar" song; it was often regarded as possibly the worst show to ever be made on Nickelodeon. In fact, its haters overwhelmed any attempts to fix the block and their Twitter account was hacked with racist posts. The network gave up on keeping control of it, while the program's Facebook page would go on to be described as entirely having "feedback" of the profane variety. Nickelodeon canceled the show on June 17, 2013, despite a promised return after Labor Day, after airing the show for nearly 4 months (likely due to their social media "feedback" at the time ending up on their own personal social media timelines, which got to the point of them receiving threats for the mere reason of just doing their jobs). The show holds the dubious honor of having a 1.1/10 rating on IMDb, making it the lowest-rated Nickelodeon show on the site. The music video for the infamous "Fart in a Jar" song was heavily disliked.

Trivia

  • Despite Nickelodeon pretty much erasing all traces of this show, they still have the infamous "Fart in a Jar" music video on their YouTube channel for some reason.
  • Although most of them were drowned out by the people who hated the show, NS10 had a few fans during its run.
  • Due to the block's short lifespan and obscurity, most of the skits and interruptions that were made can't be found online.
  • All of the hosts of the show have vanished into obscurity since the block's cancellation in 2013, with the exception of Noah Grossman.
