Night Mayor is the second half of the sixth episode in the sixth season of The Powerpuff Girls.

Plot

The girls enter the Mayor's dreamworld to find the source of his nightmares.

Why It's a Nightmare

  1. Like "Toast of the Town", the Mayor acts like a baby here, as he cries at the start just because he had a nightmare.
  2. Some goofs here, such as when Blossom kept saying "no" to the Mayor, her voice got out of sync two times.
  3. The dream sequence when the Professor shows the girls and Mayor's dreams might give some people seizures, depending on how sensitive your eyes are.
  4. Ms. Bellum having her body over her body looks very messed up. On top of that, everyone with the Mayor's heads also looks messed up.
  5. The pickle monster's design looks bland and a bit ugly.
  6. Even when the girls trapped pickle monster in a giant jar in the Mayor's dream, the Mayor is somehow still upset just because he wanted to give the giant pickle a hug, but stated earlier that he needed help fixing his dream, proving how childish he has become.
  7. Bad Ending: Although it was only a dream, the girls suddenly get trapped in a pickle jar, though the Mayor finally gets to hug the pickle monster.
    • Overall, it overuses the "it was all just a dream" trope.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. The Professor and the girls were still likable characters, as the girls try to fix the Mayor's dream despite still leading to crying.
