Odo is a Polish-British 2D-3D hybrid preschool animated series based on the illustrations by Alena Tkach and developed by Colin Williams.

Fabuła (Plot)

This series focuses on the smallest self-confident owl in a forest camp who doesn’t let his size stop him from believing in himself and trying to prove he can do whatever he puts his mind to.

Dlaczego To Jest Świetne (Why It Rocks)

  1. This series tackles anxiety, diversity and depression right.
  2. The animation style is very cute in 2021 standards, due to being originally illustrated by Polish-born Ukrainian artist Alena Tkach herself.
  3. Odo, Doodle and all the others have very unique personalities to their characters.
  4. Lots of good episodes such as Sleepover, Spoooooky!, Bye Bye Scuttle and Special Delivery.
  5. The music is very calming and relaxing, similar to how Postman Pat did it.
  6. It has a reference to Tarzan, a book written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, by having Odo swing on the vine.
  7. They teach very good morals, such as honesty, emotion, death of the loved one and fear.

Złe Cechy (Bad Qualities)

  1. The lip-syncing at some episodes don't match up to the dialogue at all, which is understandable due to the series being animated in Poland, The notable example of it can be seen at the beginning of the episode The Biscuit Pincher.
  2. Louie and Bud, the toucan twins sometimes can be very unlikable, They accused Odo for being a thief, in reality it was Odo's own father.

Reception

It has 8.0 on IMDB.
